Why klavye.tech?

Almost everyone who uses a computer eventually wants to type faster and more comfortably. A student finishing homework, a parent sending a first email, a teacher running a short typing exercise in class. Many Turkish-language typing sites feel dated. They show the F keyboard as a static picture and say little or nothing about typing code. klavye.tech was built to fill that gap.

What we are trying to do

We want anyone to be able to learn touch typing on the Q and F keyboards for free. We also want them to learn to type code the same way. And we want all of it to work without an account and without leaving personal data behind. That last part is the rule we care about most.

How it works

  • Every finger has a color. You learn which finger goes where just by looking at the colors.
  • Every new key is shown with an animation first. You watch it, then you type it.
  • Lessons are short. Each lesson takes 10 to 15 minutes. The full course runs for 16 weeks.
  • You can measure your progress. Speed tests with 15, 30, 60 or 120 seconds, in Turkish or English, show where you stand.

What we believe

Learning by seeing. It is hard to learn where a finger should go without seeing the movement, so we show every move.

Respect. No accounts, no sign-ups, no dark patterns. We want to be clear about what happens on the site and why each thing is there.

Rhythm. Short, regular lessons beat long, rare sessions. That is why we suggest a little practice every day.

Speed. The site should be light and open quickly. We avoid anything that slows it down for no good reason.

Our motto in one line: Ten fingers, one rhythm.

Who is Tushi?

Tushi is the mascot of klavye.tech. Tushi is a friendly keycap whose glove fingertips show the finger colors, so you will spot them around the site and in the lessons.

What is on the site

  • A typing speed test in Turkish and English, with 15, 30, 60 and 120 second options
  • Two 16-week touch-typing courses, one for the Q keyboard and one for the F keyboard, with 48 lessons each
  • 16-week code-typing courses for Small Basic, Python, C#, C and JavaScript
  • Animated finger and hand guides
  • A blog

Everything is free.

Who it is for

Students, parents, teachers and adults. The site is family-friendly. You practice on a physical keyboard, while the reading pages and blog also work well on a phone or tablet.
