Storage we use
The site uses three kinds of storage: strictly necessary local storage, analytics cookies and advertising cookies.

Why some storage needs no consent
Whether a storage item needs consent depends on its purpose. Storage the site needs to work, such as remembering your theme or saving your lesson progress, does not need consent, because the site would not work properly without it. Analytics and advertising cookies serve measurement and advertising rather than the basic operation of the site, so they are set only with your consent. If you decline them, they are not set, and the site still works.
Strictly necessary local storage
Your theme choice, language preference, cookie consent choice and lesson progress are kept in your browser’s local storage. The site needs these to work properly, so they do not require consent. This information is not sent to our servers. It stays in your browser.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how the site is used. Google Consent Mode v2 applies. If you do not consent, analytics cookies are not set. IP anonymization is built into GA4.
Advertising cookies
Google AdSense and Google’s advertising partners may use cookies to show and measure ads. Where personalized advertising applies, these cookies are used only with your consent. Ads are labeled “Advertisement” and are kept separate from lesson content. Because this is a family-friendly site, sensitive ad categories are blocked.
How to change your consent
Use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer to change your choice at any time. Your new setting applies straight away. If you prefer maximum privacy, you can decline non-essential cookies. In that case, analytics and advertising cookies are not set, and the core features of the site still work.
Your advertising choices
You can manage your Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com. For more detail on how Google’s advertising technologies work, visit policies.google.com/technologies/ads. To opt out of personalized advertising from other third-party vendors, you can use aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
Deleting cookies in your browser
You can delete cookies and site data for klavye.tech from the privacy or site settings section of your browser. You can also block cookies altogether, although some features of the site may then not work as expected.
Deleting site data also deletes your lesson progress, stars and preferences. To keep your progress, export it as a code before you clear anything.
Common questions
I changed my choice, but the ads look the same. The ads you see also depend on Google’s own settings and on the campaigns of the advertiser. To opt out of personalized ads, manage your settings on Google’s ad settings page.
My browser blocks cookies. In that case, analytics and advertising cookies cannot be set. If local storage is blocked, your lesson progress may not be saved either, so please check your browser’s storage settings.
Private browsing and other browsers
If you use a private or incognito window, many browsers delete local storage when the window closes, so your progress will not be kept. Progress also does not move automatically to another browser or device. Use the export code to carry your progress over.
